A quick tip of the cap to my two new favorite cookbooks:  the unsurprisingly gorgeous AD HOC at Home from the Thomas Keller team and the stupendously entertaining Momofuku from David Chang.  AD HOC is just chock-full of knowledge, technique, beautiful pictures, and really really really tasty recipes.  Momofuku is just as irreverent as its namesake restaurant empire and one of the best reads ever from a cookbook.  The story Chang weaves (artfully worded by Peter Meehan) is both satisfying and funny…not to mention he tells you how to make his incredible pork buns and his delicious ramen.  Pick them up…they rock!
