The Arcade Fire, keeping your suburban dystopia ever so catchy.

It’s a nice eclectic mix this week including a sweet new track from the Arcade Fire. We’ve also got a great song from the Philly-based Dr. Dog. If you don’t know them…get on it…their last two albums (Fate and Shame, Shame) are both hooky, groovy, and delicious. Also featured are tracks from Surfer Blood (a great band to keep the summer going all year long) and the incredible Titus Andronicus, whose debut album is going to be a serious contender for album of the year. They’re like a drunken bar party where Springsteen and Conner Oberst are the house bands. Ariel Pink throws in a little 60s meets 80s British pop and The Black Keys rock a dirty nasty tune from their new album, Brothers. Not to mention some fantastic efforts from indie hip-hop group Brooklynati, guitar freaks The Besnard Lakes, Vampire Weekend, accordion friendly Beirut, and deceptively simple, dark pop trio The xx.  Hope you all enjoy.
